LMC San Pepe is sired by J7N LMC Adelante and out of a heavy milking LMC 6G Red Rock cow bred by 6G Ranch. San Pepe is a cherry red, blazed face bull that as a calf was crowned the 2019 Reserve International Champion Bull in Houston, as well as the Grand Champion Bull at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show in Mercedes. Adelante’s paternal grand sire Hagans Ante up was International Champion as a calf himself, thus he is bred in the purple on the paternal side.

The first set of San Pepe calves by natural service have been eye appealing like their sire with the majority of them selling for a premium as show heifers prior to weaning. The Sklar & Son operation acquired San Pepe in 2021 and he is now at work in their successful and long-standing Simbrah operation in Edna, Texas. This sire is unique in terms of both his phenotype and genotype, as he brings in the Ante Up bull and is a cleaner made bull when compared to most of our other recent sires in the lineup.
